St. Edward the Confessor
Today is the feast of St. Edward the Confessor, who was known for his charity and the miracles God worked through him even during his lifetime. He died in January of 1066, on the eve of the Norman Invasion of England, and is counted among the patron saints of that country.

I came here via Sarisburium. Good timing as well, you having just updated your blog.
I had a quick look at your website and was fascinated to read of the Chinese Martyrs of 1900. How shameful I knew nothing of it: I'll be reading it in full at home. Thank you.

Welcome, Ian! I'm glad you were able to receive some edification.
I hope to update my website soon, but God only knows when since I'm finishing my master's degree now. Until then, I'll be trying to post more on my blog, since it's a bit easier.
